Clergy Care and Counselling

Minister's Helpline

The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada has established an agreement with the Evengelical Fellowship of Canada and eleven other denominations to have Focus on the Family establish an all-Canadian counselling helpline.  This is private, confidential, anonymous counselling and referrals for ministers and their families.

By dialing 1-888-5CLERGY (525-3749), the minister or member of the minister's family is connected by a trained intake counsellor to a professional Chrisitan counsellor at Focus on the Family offices in Langley, British Columbia.

Each counsellor has at least a master's degree in Christian counselling and is trained in crisis intervention.  They are equipped to identify problems with insight and objectivity, and are skilled and equipped in making appropriate referras for ongoing counselling where deemed necessary.

Absolute confidentiality is guaranteed.

The cost of this service is covered jointly by the District Offices and the International Office of the PAOC.  The counselling calls are absolutely free to the caller.

Counselling Policy

The Saskatchewan District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada has a strong desire to care for the Saskatchewan credential holders and their families.  One of the means of caring for our credential holders and their families is by providing some funding for professional counselling for the credential holders and their families.  To read the guidelines, you may view the counselling policy brochure by clicking here.  Feel free to contact one of the District Executive Members to apply for this assistance.
